After a spectacular fight to the finish with Team SPAIN, the Italians take gold in STUTTGART

Third time lucky! In the first edition of the NWC Italy came 3rd, in the second edition they made 2nd and this time, finally, 1st place. Team ITALIA 1 (NSR), made up by Tommaso Melioli and Mario Arturi, after an impressive duel with Team SPAIN, acheived victory in the final of the III NINCO WORLD CUP, held on 17 and 18 of Nov in Stuttgart (Germany). The Starting Grid was made up of 16 teams from; Belgium, Holland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Sweden, Andorra, France, United States and Argentina.
BELGIUM, PORTUGAL, USA and HOLLAND showed great improvment on previous editions, especially the Belgian team, making the podium and leading the race for the ist ¼ of its duration. SWEDEN made a great debut with 7th place, ahead of Argentina who had a similar result as last year.
Amongst the others, the debutants from Mexico and Andorra also made their mark, their individual rivalry with the French and German teams brought them something more valuable than a good final position, it brought them experience. Saturday was free practice day and the ‘Superpole’ in which team ITALIA 1 also acheived the best time, thanks to the Tomasso Melioli’s 9,997.
Saturday morning also saw the classification of the German candidates, eight teams made it to Stuttgart to fight for 3 places. The event was followed by an enthusiastic public, intrigued by the nature of this type of competition, unheard of in Germany until now. Finally, amid the satisfaction of the participants there were prizes for all, including one very special for the fastest lap during the 6hr endurance event: Raúl Sanchez (SPAIN – SLOT CAR MOSPMIS).

Completó el podio BELGICA y Raúl Sánchez (ESPAÑA) logró el premio a la mejor vuelta rápida
A la tercera fue la vencida. El primer año ITALIA logró el tercer puesto, en la segunda edición fueron segundos y esta vez, triunfo absoluto. El equipo ITALIA 1 (NSR), formado por Tommaso Melioli y Mario Arturi, consiguió en brillante duelo con ESPAÑA la victoria en la gran final de la III NINCO WORLD CUP, celebrada el 17 y 18 de noviembre en Stuttgart (Alemania). La parrilla de salida estuvo formada por 16 equipos llegados de Bélgica, Holanda, España, Portugal, Italia, Alemania, México, Suecia, Andorra, Francia, Estados Unidos y Argentina.
BÉLGICA, PORTUGAL, USA y HOLANDA demostraron una gran mejora respecto a sus resultados anteriores, sobre todo el equipo belga, que se metió brillantemente ¡en el podio! e incluso lideró la carrera durante el primer cuarto de competición. SUECIA tuvo un genial debut con su séptima plaza, por encima de ARGENTINA que tuvo resultado similar al del año pasado.
Entre el resto, también destacaron los debutantes ANDORRA y MÉXICO, que en su particular duelo con los equipos de ALEMANIA y FRANCIA lograron algo más que una buena posición: experiencia. El sábado se celebraron los entrenamientos libres y la Súperpole, en la que también logró el mejor tiempo ITALIA 1 gracias al crono de Tommaso Melioli.
Los equipos alemanes disputaron previamente en el mismo recinto la clasificatoria de su país para decidir sus representantes. El evento fue seguido por numeroso público, que descubrió de la mano de NINCO una competición de estas características, inédita hasta el momento allí. Al final, entre la satisfacción de todos los participantes hubo premios para todos y uno muy especial para el piloto más rápido, el autor de la vuelta rápida durante las 6 horas de competición: Raúl Sánchez (ESPAÑA - SLOT CAR MOSPMIS).
